mates4health is currently supported by 10 committed members who contribute in many different ways. Some support our work through their membership fees, others through additional donations or fundraising activities. Many bring in valuable personal and professional connections, initiate project ideas, or actively accompany projects on the ground.
We are still a small but growing community – united by shared values and the conviction that meaningful change requires more than financial support alone. Together with our local partners, we see ourselves as part of a global network of mutual learning, trust, and responsibility.
We are deeply convinced that sustainable and lasting impact can only be achieved together with the people on the ground – by strengthening local expertise, encouraging ownership, and supporting initiatives that arise from within the communities themselves.
In this spirit, our guiding principle is simple: Helping people to help themselves.
